It is with very mixed emotions that I am announcing the close of Blakewood Cattery as a breeding cattery effective January 2024.

I have enjoyed the privilege of breeding CFA cats since 1998.  Along the way, treasured friendships have blossomed.  To all of those who helped me THANK YOU. Heartfelt thanks to Ellyn and Rico Honey for my very first show cat and the sharing of their knowledge.  Special thanks to Sandi Douglas and Todd Dotson who helped me reestablish when I had to spay and neuter cats due to amyloidosis.  Thank you to Lorna Friemoth who introduced me to Javanese and my Furbies. There are so many people who influenced my breeding that I cannot begin to name them all....you know who you are and THANK YOU.

I hope to continue to contribute to CFA via Breed Councils, mentoring, Cat Talk and showing some Household pets and maybe a premiership cat or two.

To all my wonderful pet buyers over the years, you have been amazing pet parents and have brought joy to my life by sharing photos and stories of the cats you have.

Lastly, I would be remiss without mentioning Virginia Wheeldon, who helped form my YOU!vision of a great Siamese, and who designed and maintained my website....THANK
